Porcupine Mountain Tree Series
Fall 2023.
Inspired by a summer camping trip in Up Morth Michigan, particularly in the Porcupine Mountains (the Porkies). This series seeks to capture the towering trees and layers of light.
A series of mugs and vases, fired to Cone 6, with slip, brushing media, mason stains, amaco underglaze, Coyote speckled matte glaze on the interior, and liquid quartz to seal the outside.
